Yes! Poland is an excellent choice for summer trips, offering warm weather, long days, and plenty of outdoor activities to sink your hiking boots into! From walking, cycling, kayaking, and swimming to vibrant festivals and cultural events in charming mountain towns, Poland is a fantastic option for summer adventures.
What month is best to visit Poland?
For balmy temperatures and extended daylight hours, the best months to visit Poland are from June to August. However, if you're seeking fewer crowds and a bit of relaxation, we recommend travelling in May or September through October for the added bonus of pleasant weather and lower flight and accommodation costs.
How hot is Poland in summer?
June to August are the warmest months in Poland, with temperatures averaging around 15°C in the Tatra Mountains. It's the perfect weather for hiking, biking, and watersports!
How many days are enough in Poland?
With some seriously stunning biking and hiking trails to explore, as well as white-water rafting, paragliding, and even thermal baths to relax in, Poland offers plenty to make a week-long trip worthwhile.
However, for those with only enough time for a weekend or short break, three days in Poland can be more than enough to hit the trails and breathe in the mountain air, with transfers from Krakow taking around 2 hours door-to-door.
