Pertisau, located in Austria's Karwendel Alpine Park, is a quaint resort village on the western shore of Lake Achensee in the Tyrol region. Its main ski area, "Zwölferkopf," boasts 13km of pistes that are ideal for beginners and intermediates seeking to learn on gentle slopes, and is easily accessed via the Karwendel lift in the village centre.
To explore further, you can upgrade to a "Region Achensee" lift pass to access an additional 53km of pistes in the neighbouring Rofan near Maurach and 27km at Achenkirch via the free shuttle bus. 
Off the slopes, it's all about relaxing and reconnecting with nature. Take a break from skiing with numerous winter hiking trails or try snowkiting or a night toboggan ride under the stars.
